Attendance you can actually trust
QR and GPS check-in, geofenced office attendance, field-visit proof, kiosk mode, and manager approvals. You set the rules, the evidence backs every record, and it works on any phone.
Policy-driven engine
Decide who can check in, from where, by which method, and what proof is required. Office staff stay inside the geofence; field staff check in from client sites with GPS and a note.
QR and GPS together
Static, rotating, one-time, and location QR codes, combined with GPS latitude, longitude, and accuracy. Location is treated as evidence, never blind truth.
Kiosk mode
Turn a reception tablet or school gate into a full-screen scanner with big banners, manual lookup, an offline queue, and auto-refreshing codes.
Field & sales visits
Check in at a meeting or client site with GPS proof, a note, and an optional photo. Anything outside the assigned area goes to manager review.
Approvals & corrections
Dead battery, forgotten check-out, or a changed meeting? Staff submit an exception and managers approve, reject, or adjust, with every change logged.
Reports & privacy
Daily, user, location, and team reports with CSV and PDF export. You control retention, and admins never expose raw JSON or private photos.

Create Free AccountWhat is AttendTrack?
AttendTrack is a complete, mobile-first attendance and check-in system built into SmartKit that lets any organization record who showed up, where, and when, with real proof and full manager control, without expensive hardware, biometric scanners, or complicated setup. It is designed for offices, corporate teams, field sales and service teams, schools, colleges, coaching centers, madrassas, clinics, events, training centers, NGOs, volunteer groups, and multi-branch businesses, and it works smoothly on employee phones, reception tablets, office and school-gate kiosks, event devices, manager phones, and desktops.
What makes AttendTrack different is that it is not just a QR attendance tool and not just a GPS attendance app. It is a policy-driven attendance engine, which means the workspace owner decides exactly who can check in, from where, how they must check in, and what proof is required, and the system enforces those rules automatically. A core principle runs through the whole product: location is evidence, not absolute truth. GPS can be inaccurate and browser location depends on device permission, so AttendTrack never trusts location alone. It combines the server timestamp, GPS latitude, longitude and accuracy, distance from the assigned location, QR token validity, device trust, the schedule window, the check-in method, an optional proof photo, a risk score, and manager review, so every record is trustworthy and audit-ready.
How AttendTrack works
1. Set up locations and policies
Create as many locations as you need, such as a head office, city branches, a warehouse, a school gate, a classroom, an event hall, or a temporary client site, each with its own allowed radius and check-in policy. Office staff can be required to check in only inside the approved radius, while field staff can check in from client and meeting locations with GPS proof and a note.
2. Staff check in their way
Turn on the methods you want per policy: QR check-in with static, rotating, one-time, session, and location codes; GPS-stamped self check-in from a phone; QR combined with GPS for stronger office attendance; GPS plus photo or note for field work; and kiosk scanning for reception desks, school gates, clinics, and events.
3. Proof is captured and reviewed
Every check-in stores its evidence. Anything outside the assigned area or below the required GPS accuracy is sent for manager review instead of being silently accepted or wrongly rejected. Managers can approve, reject, request more information, mark excused, or adjust a time, and every manual change is written to an audit log.
4. Report and export
Live dashboards and a full set of reports cover daily summaries, user history, location and team attendance, late arrivals, missed check-outs, pending reviews, and field visits, all filterable and exportable to CSV, printable HTML, and browser-saved PDF.
Who uses AttendTrack
- Offices and corporate teams for daily staff check-in and check-out
- Field sales and service teams for client and site-visit attendance with GPS proof
- Schools, colleges, coaching centers, and madrassas for teacher and class attendance
- Clinics and reception desks for staff and visitor check-in
- Events, seminars, and training sessions for guest and volunteer check-in
- Multi-branch businesses that need location-wise attendance in one place
Privacy and security
Attendance, location, and photos are sensitive, so AttendTrack collects only what a policy needs, shows a clear notice before capturing location or a photo, and lets the owner configure how long raw GPS and photos are kept. QR tokens are signed and expire, public and kiosk endpoints are rate-limited, and suspicious behavior raises green, yellow, and red health dots through the SmartKit Security Guard. By default the SmartKit super admin never sees employee locations, notes, or proof photos, and support access is explicit, time-limited, logged, and revocable.
Frequently asked questions
Does AttendTrack need an app install? No. It runs in the mobile browser and works like a lightweight web app, so staff can check in from any phone without installing anything.
What if GPS accuracy is poor? AttendTrack stores the accuracy with every check-in and follows your policy. It can ask the user to retry in an open area, accept with a warning, or send the record for manager review, instead of silently trusting a bad reading.
Can office staff and field staff have different rules? Yes. Office staff can be limited to the office geofence, while field and sales staff check in from client and meeting locations with GPS proof, a note, and an optional photo.
What happens if someone forgets to check out? The system can auto-flag a missed check-out and let the person submit a correction request that a manager reviews and approves.
Is it really free? Yes. AttendTrack is part of SmartKit, built on core PHP and JSON storage with no paid APIs, so it stays fast, private, and free to use.
