For public users without an account, we do not require any personal information to use most of our free tools.

We use your information strictly to provide, maintain, and improve our tools. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties. Your data is used exclusively to facilitate your usage of features like Chat Rooms, File Sharing, and URL Shortening.

3. Data Storage and Temporary Files

SmartKit features several temporary cloud tools. Files uploaded for File Sharing or Temp Chat are stored temporarily and are automatically deleted after their expiration period or when the room is closed. PDF processing happens entirely in your browser, meaning your sensitive PDF files are never uploaded to our servers. For our Audio Chat Rooms, we use WebRTC peer-to-peer technology, meaning your voice data is transmitted directly between users and is never recorded or stored on our servers.

4. Cookies and Local Storage

We use essential cookies and browser local storage to keep you logged in, save your dark/light mode preferences, and maintain session states (like chat tokens). We do not use intrusive tracking cookies.

5. Security

We prioritize the security of your data by implementing standard security practices, including CSRF protection and secure database queries. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
