AcademiCard Becomes a Complete School Exam Management System
AcademiCard has received one of the biggest upgrades ever released on SmartKit. What started as a result card tool has now been rebuilt into a complete school exam management system, giving schools a cleaner way to manage students, classes, subjects, marks, teacher submissions, result publishing, parent access, and exports from one place.
A New Classes and Exams Workspace
The entire AcademiCard experience now lives inside two simple sections: Classes and Exams. Every page follows the same clean SmartKit layout, making it easier for schools to move between student records, subject setup, exam creation, mark entry, and result management without confusion.
Full Student Profiles and Class Imports
Schools can now create complete student profiles with parent details, date of birth, and custom fields such as blood group. Students can be added one by one, or entire classes can be imported using a ready-made template for faster setup.
Subject Setup With Passing Rules
Each class can now have its own subjects, with separate maximum marks and passing marks for every subject. This gives schools the flexibility to match their real exam structure instead of forcing every subject into the same marking pattern.
Teacher Mark Entry Without Login
Creating an exam now generates a private, PIN-protected mark entry link for every subject. Schools can send the subject link directly to the teacher through WhatsApp. The teacher opens the link, enters the PIN, fills marks for the full class, and submits them without needing a SmartKit account.
Live Exam Progress Tracking
While teachers submit marks, schools can watch the exam progress live. This makes it much easier to see which subjects are complete, which teachers still need to submit marks, and when an exam is ready for result calculation and release.
Automatic Results, Grades, and Class Ranks
AcademiCard now calculates totals, percentages, grades, pass or fail status, and class ranks automatically. Schools no longer need to calculate rankings manually or maintain separate spreadsheets for final results.
Private, Public, and Scheduled Result Releases
Every exam can be kept private, published publicly, or scheduled to release automatically at an exact date and time in the school's own local timezone. Private and unreleased exams remain hidden from parents until the school is ready.
Parent Result Portal With PDF Cards
Parents can now check results through the school's portal using the student's registration number and date of birth. Once a result is available, they see a themed result card with a PDF download option, giving schools a polished result experience without extra software.
Powerful Excel Exports
Schools can export a single student's history, a full class, a year group, or an entire exam to Excel. Exam exports are available in both subject-wise and summary formats, making reporting, archiving, and internal review much faster.
One-Click Migration From the Old System
For schools already using the older CSV-based AcademiCard setup, a one-click migration path is now available. Existing results can be brought into the new system cleanly, so schools can upgrade without losing their historical data.
