AssetTracker Assignment Accuracy and Optional TicketDesk Email Verification

SmartKit Updates
July 4, 2026

SmartKit’s July 4, 2026 update improves AssetTracker assignment accuracy and gives TicketDesk teams more control over email verification for support forms.

AssetTracker Assignment Accuracy

AssetTracker now displays site-assigned devices correctly.

Devices assigned to a Site were previously showing as Available, which could make inventory counts look misleading. They now correctly display as Assigned to Site: [Site Name].

Dashboard metrics have also been updated so devices assigned to Sites are counted under Assigned totals. Available now strictly represents devices sitting in a Store.

Returning a device to a store still works as expected and continues to show the device as Available in [Store Name].

Optional Email Verification in TicketDesk

TicketDesk now includes a customizable email verification option in the Form Builder.

Teams can choose whether a specific request form requires email verification before creating a ticket. This is especially useful for internal company forms where requesters are already trusted and speed matters more than verification.

When verification is disabled, users submitting that form bypass the email link requirement. The ticket opens instantly, and the requester sees their Ticket Number directly on the screen.

This update keeps TicketDesk secure by default while giving teams the flexibility to streamline trusted internal workflows.
