Smart Forms has received a major upgrade focused on file collection, storage control, upload reliability, and response media management.

This update makes it easier for creators to collect larger files professionally while keeping storage usage accurate, protected, and fully manageable.

Larger Video Upload Support

Form creators can now allow video uploads up to 500MB.

Images and documents remain limited to 5MB, keeping everyday uploads lightweight while still allowing video-based submissions when creators need them.

Storage Quota Protection

Every uploaded file is now counted against the creator's SmartKit storage quota.

The system checks available storage before accepting uploads and prevents files from exceeding the creator's remaining quota.

When storage is full, users now see a clear message explaining that the upload cannot continue until space is available.

Secure Chunked Uploads for Large Videos

Large videos are now uploaded in secure 8MB chunks.

This avoids common hosting gateway limits and makes large video submission more reliable across different browsers and networks.

The upload experience now includes a live progress bar, upload percentage, estimated remaining time, disabled Submit button while uploading, and a clear processing status after completion.

Protected Media Library for Responses

Responses now include a protected Media Library for uploaded files.

Authorized users can preview uploaded videos and files, search attachments, open files securely, and delete individual uploads when needed.

This gives form creators a cleaner way to review collected media without digging through raw file links.

Accurate Cleanup and Storage Recovery

Deleting an attachment now removes the related file and returns the released storage space to the creator's quota.

The same cleanup behavior now applies when a response or full form is deleted, helping storage stay accurate over time.

Analytics Storage Reporting Improved

Analytics storage management now correctly displays Smart Forms uploads.

This gives creators better visibility into how much storage their collected form files are using.

Media Routing and Preview Fixes

Several routing and endpoint issues affecting media preview, deletion, and file listing have been fixed.

These fixes make response media handling more dependable across the full upload and review flow.

Consistent Light Theme

The Smart Forms interface now preserves the light SmartKit theme consistently across devices and operating-system dark-mode settings.

This keeps forms visually stable and aligned with the SmartKit experience no matter how the visitor's device is configured.
