AssetTracker Smart Renewals and Expiry Tracking Go Live

AssetTracker’s renewal workflow just became much easier to manage with the July 22, 2026 update.

SIM cards and software licenses now have smarter validity tracking, clearer expiry alerts, faster renewal actions, and better history logging, helping teams stay ahead of renewals before service or license access lapses.

Smart Validity Tracking

AssetTracker now shows Validity indicators for SIM cards and software licenses instead of plain expiry dates.

Each record displays the validity date along with an exact days remaining countdown, making it easier to understand what is still active, what needs attention soon, and what has already expired.

Color-Coded Expiry Alerts

Expiry information now changes color based on urgency.

Assets expiring within 30 days are highlighted in orange as critical. Already expired SIM cards or licenses are shown in red, making renewal risks much easier to spot while browsing directories or asset profiles.

One-Click Renewals

SIM cards and software licenses now have dedicated renewal actions.

SIM cards include a Renew Plan button, while software licenses include a Renew License button. Users can extend the validity date and optionally log the renewal cost without editing the entire asset profile.

This makes renewal updates faster and keeps the workflow focused on the task that matters.

Expiry Sorting and Filtering

The SIM Cards and Licenses directories now include expiry-focused filters and sorting.

Users can quickly filter the list to show Critical assets expiring within 30 days, view only Expired assets, or sort the full list by what is expiring soonest.

This gives teams a practical renewal dashboard inside the directories they already use.

Renewal History Logging

Every SIM plan renewal and software license renewal is now recorded automatically.

Renewal events appear in the Global Activity History and the Dashboard timeline, with a dedicated purple sync icon so they are easy to identify.

This gives teams a clearer audit trail of when renewals happened and what was updated.

Cleaner Asset Action Buttons

Asset action buttons have been polished across relevant pages.

Assign, Renew, and Return actions now use a cleaner, more modern layout, making asset pages easier to scan and more pleasant to use.

This update turns AssetTracker into a stronger renewal management tool, helping teams catch upcoming expiries early and keep SIM cards and software licenses active with less manual effort.
