Introducing DailyCopy, a Teacher-Parent Routine Tracker

SmartKit Updates
July 6, 2026

SmartKit’s July 6, 2026 update introduces DailyCopy, a brand-new education workflow tool built for schools, madrassas, hifz classes, and tuition centers.

DailyCopy helps institutions replace scattered daily updates with one structured teacher-parent routine system that works directly from the browser, with no app installation required.

Built for Daily Education Routines

DailyCopy is designed specifically for recurring school routines, not as a generic form tool.

Schools can use it to collect daily updates such as homework completion, revision status, hifz progress, attendance, behavior notes, study time, and parent remarks.

Teachers, coordinators, principals, madrassa administrators, hifz instructors, and parents can all use one organized workflow instead of relying on WhatsApp messages, notebooks, verbal follow-up, or disconnected spreadsheets.

No App Required

DailyCopy works fully in the browser.

Parents do not need to install anything from the App Store or Play Store. They can open a private student link, enter a simple PIN, and submit the daily routine form from a phone, tablet, or computer.

This keeps adoption simple for families and makes rollout easier for schools.

Class-Specific Forms

Different classes can have different daily forms.

A hifz class can track memorization, sabaq, revision, and fluency, while a tuition class can focus on homework, attendance, study duration, and performance notes.

Supported field types include Yes or No, dropdowns, star ratings, time pickers, short text, and long text. A live preview helps staff see the parent view while building the form.

Private Parent Links and PIN Protection

Each student gets one permanent private parent link that can be reused daily.

The link is protected with a custom 4-digit PIN, giving schools a practical privacy layer without forcing parents into full account creation.

Schools can also control editing rules, such as allowing edits anytime, only on the same day, or until a specific cutoff time.

Teacher Dashboard and Missing Entries

Teachers get a clear dashboard showing who submitted today and who is still pending.

A dedicated Missing view makes follow-up faster by listing the students who have not submitted yet. Teachers can then prepare reminder messages more easily instead of checking through chats and spreadsheets manually.

Teacher Reports and Student Timelines

DailyCopy includes a teacher-side reporting layer for attendance, marks, behavior observations, and internal notes.

Each student has a profile with parent details, PIN information, performance context, date navigation, and daily history. Teachers can move through previous dates to review patterns over time.

Edit history tracking helps teachers see when a parent submission was changed later.

Automated Scoring, Reports, and Exports

DailyCopy can calculate a daily score out of 100 based on supported answer types such as Yes or No and star ratings.

Schools can generate custom date range reports, review rankings when appropriate, export data to CSV, and download PDF reports for meetings, administration, or parent discussions.

Multilingual and RTL Support

DailyCopy supports English, Urdu, and Arabic workflows, including right-to-left formatting where needed.

This makes it practical for multilingual school communities, madrassas, and families who prefer routine communication in their own language.

Reminder Templates

DailyCopy includes a reminder workflow for students with missing submissions.

Templates can use shortcodes such as student name, class name, and date, helping schools create personalized reminder messages that can be used in WhatsApp, SMS, or other communication channels.

DailyCopy gives schools a calmer, more consistent way to manage daily reporting, helping teachers know who submitted, who is missing, and how each student is progressing over time.
