Introducing TicketDesk, a Free Support Portal for Teams

SmartKit Updates
June 30, 2026

SmartKit’s June 30, 2026 update introduces TicketDesk, a free cloud-based support ticket system built for teams that need a real helpdesk workflow without another monthly software bill.

TicketDesk helps businesses, schools, facility teams, contractors, freelancers, and IT departments turn scattered support requests into structured tickets with clear tracking, updates, and history.

Free Support Portal Creation

TicketDesk lets teams create a full support portal directly inside SmartKit.

Each company gets its own isolated workspace, public portal, private ticket dashboard, ticket history, forms, and settings. Teams can create a portal, share the link, and start accepting requests without installing software or setting up a separate helpdesk platform.

The official tool page is available at https://smartkit.cc/ticketdesk.

Guest Ticket Submission

Requesters can submit support tickets without creating an account.

This keeps the experience simple for employees, clients, students, or site staff who only need to report an issue quickly. Each submission still becomes a formal ticket record with a unique reference number and trackable history.

The public portal can collect practical support details such as requester information, site or location, issue type, priority, description, and attachments.

Private Ticket Dashboard

Support teams get a private workspace where incoming tickets are organized in one place.

Instead of tracking requests across email, phone calls, WhatsApp messages, and memory, teams can review ticket details, priorities, locations, attachments, and recent updates from a structured dashboard.

Ticket counts, open and closed work, and recent activity help managers understand the workload more clearly.

Ticket History and Status Tracking

Every ticket follows a proper lifecycle, from submission to review, update, and closure.

Support staff can add status notes so each change has context. This creates a cleaner history for the team and helps reduce confusion about what happened, when it happened, and why.

Requesters can also check ticket status using the correct ticket number and email, without needing a SmartKit account. Public status views show the ticket timeline while keeping internal notes private.

File Attachments and Email Notifications

TicketDesk supports file attachments so requesters can include screenshots, photos, or documents with their issue.

This gives support teams better context from the start and can reduce back-and-forth questions.

Email notifications help keep requesters informed when a ticket is received, updated, or closed, making the portal feel like a proper helpdesk system rather than a simple form.

Multi-Workspace Support

TicketDesk supports multiple company workspaces under one SmartKit account.

This is useful for freelancers, MSP-style operators, contractors, and teams managing support for several clients or branches. Each workspace stays separate, with its own portal, tickets, forms, settings, and history.

Mobile-Friendly Experience

TicketDesk is designed to work well on phones too.

Requesters can submit issues from mobile devices, and support staff can review and manage tickets while moving between locations. This is especially useful for field teams, facility managers, site supervisors, and contractors.

TicketDesk gives teams a practical way to organize support without paying for heavy helpdesk software before they truly need it.

A proper support portal is now part of SmartKit, free, structured, and ready for real work.
