PrayerBoard Now Auto-Calculates Jamaat Timings

SmartKit Updates
June 13, 2026

Managing your PrayerBoard timetable is now significantly easier. On June 13, 2026, we introduced the highly requested Auto-Calculate Jamaat feature to save time and simplify daily prayer schedule management.

Simplified Excel Uploads

You no longer need to enter both Azan and Jamaat times for every prayer in your Excel file.

Simply add the Azan times, and PrayerBoard can calculate the corresponding Jamaat timings automatically. A new Azan Only Excel template is also available to download directly from the dashboard.

Configure Fixed Jamaat Delays

PrayerBoard configuration now allows you to set a fixed delay between the Azan and Jamaat time for each prayer.

For example, you can configure:

  • Fajr Jamaat for 20 minutes after Azan
  • Maghrib Jamaat for 5 minutes after Azan
  • Individual delays for the other daily prayers

Once configured, these delays are applied automatically whenever a manual Jamaat time is unavailable.

Automatic Jamaat Calculations

The PrayerBoard TV Display and Mobile App will read each Azan time, apply the configured delay, and display the calculated Jamaat time instantly.

This reduces repetitive timetable work while helping you maintain accurate prayer schedules across supported displays and devices.

Manual Times Always Take Priority

The new feature is fully backwards compatible with existing PrayerBoard timetables.

If your Excel file contains a manually entered Jamaat time, PrayerBoard will always prioritize that exact time instead of calculating a new one. This gives you complete control over special schedules, including Jummah timings and exceptions for specific days.

Easier Timetable Management

With simplified Excel uploads, configurable delays, automatic calculations, and manual overrides, PrayerBoard timetable management is now faster and more flexible.

We will continue improving SmartKit and PrayerBoard with features that make everyday management simpler.
