Registration Code Controls and Quiz Time Tracking

This update gives registration form creators more flexibility over unique codes, adds quiz completion time tracking, and resolves important issues affecting settings, access codes, and form management.

Custom Unique Code Types for Registration Forms

Registration form creators can now choose the type of unique code issued to participants after a successful submission.

Available options include:

  • Only Digits: Creates numeric codes such as 4829.
  • Only Alphabet: Creates letter-only codes such as XKWZ.
  • Mixed: Creates codes with letters and numbers such as A1B2.

This setting is available in Registration Settings, directly below the existing Code Length field. Any configured code prefix continues to be applied to the generated code.

This feature is available only for Registration forms, not Quiz or Survey forms.

Quiz Time Taken Tracking

Quiz creators can now choose to track how long participants take to complete a quiz.

  • Enable or disable Time Taken tracking from Quiz Settings.
  • Review each participant's completion time in the Responses Panel.
  • Participants can see their completion time on the Quiz Result page, such as “Completed in 2 minutes 34 seconds.”

Improved Registration Settings

The Enforce Unique Phone Numbers setting has been moved to the Registration Settings section, where it belongs.

This option helps prevent multiple registrations using the same phone number. A Phone field must be added in the Form Builder before the setting can be used.

Bug Fixes and Reliability Improvements

  • Fixed Form Settings auto-save failures that displayed a Network error message. Settings now save correctly and show the expected Saved at confirmation.
  • Fixed quiz submission failures when Access Codes were enabled. Access codes are now correctly consumed and connected to submissions on the first attempt.
  • Fixed the separator text on the Access Code entry page. A standard bullet separator is now used to prevent display issues caused by translation tools and browser differences.

All updates are now live on SmartKit. We will keep refining the platform so form creation, registration management, and quiz delivery stay simple and reliable.
